The AWB BS200 micro base station is a scalable BST architecture, targeted for deployment in high dense urban areas. The classis contains a network processor unit, multiple access unit modules (up to 6 in a single chassis), power supply and power feeding modules. All the modules are hot swappable and high availability can be provided through multiple redundancy schemes. Compliant with IEEE 802.16e WiMAX standard, the appliance delivers the last mile broadband wireless access (BWA) for service provider in fixed or mobile applications.
